What to Expect at an In Home Demonstration of Mediumship

What is a Medium?

A medium is someone who communicates with alternate realms of living consciousness including loved ones across the veil. An evidential medium provides specific, verifiable information, such as relationships, personality traits, physical descriptions, cause of death, manner of death to validate the connection.

The ability to communicate with non-physical consciousness is an ancient ability recognized by many religions and countries. The goal of mediumship is not to seek information or guidance, but to offer clear evidence that life continues after death. Many find that a reading gives them a sense of peace, comfort and a stronger faith that there is more than what we can see with our physical eyes.

What to Expect

I will begin with a brief introduction about myself and how my mediumship arrived and evolved. I will also describe how I receive and convey messages and what to expect.

During the event, I shift my awareness into a receptive state. This is as natural as daydreaming where I am midway between fully aware and slightly altered consciousness as if I were meditating.

In this state, I will share the impressions, feelings, sensations, visuals and thoughts that drop into my awareness. This information comes from an alternate dimension where life continues outside the physical body. Many call this the quantum field or the spirit world.

I may connect with anyone you’ve known—not just family members. This could include friends, colleagues, or even pets. The evidence I share will build a story about the spirit communicating. They may share their cause of death, manner of death. relationship to you, personality quirks, style of dress, lifestyle, shared memories, inside jokes or even their name or the names of people important to them.

Each person is as unique in spirit as we all are in life as we retain our essence at death but lose our physical bodies, physical pain and struggles of the mind that make life challenging.

I will provide as many connections and messages as possible. Although all attendees are not guaranteed a personal reading during this event, there is so much comfort in knowing that all of our loved ones and connections who have passed are present as I deliver evidence and messages to those I read.

All demonstrations include time for questions about the process of mediumship and how spirit communication works.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The event will be about 90 minutes with time for a brief introduction before beginning and Q&A after the demonstration.

  • In these events, not everyone is guaranteed a reading, but I will bring through as many spirits as possible in the time allowed.

  • This is perfectly fine. Many people are curious but don’t feel ready for a reading. Group settings are a perfect opportunity to get exposure to mediumship without committing to a private session. If a spirit comes through for you and you would not like a reading, please let me know and I will move to the next person.

  • Please have guests arrive at least thirty minutes before I arrive. Once I get there, I like to start quickly to prevent overhearing any personal details that might get in the way of the powerful healing potential of the evening.

  • There is nothing you need to do to prepare, however some find that thinking of their loved ones and asking them in your mind to show up results in a message. It’s important,though, to keep your mind open to whoever comes through. It may be someone you want to communicate with but it may also be someone eager to connect with you!

  • No, it does not mean that. We are all surrounded by the love and support of our loved ones at all times. Some spirits are more private and shy and do not prefer public settings. Others struggle with communication or are not ready to come through either because of the timeline of their healing or your healing and grief. This is common and not something to be concerned about.

  • It’s normal and natural to be nervous about a reading. They can be vulnerable and emotional experiences. Most people find readings to be surprisingly conversational, relaxed and comforting. However, if you are uncomfortable at any time you are free to ask me to move on or excuse yourself. This is both a safe and a brave place and I honor your sovereignty.
