What you'll learn
Read the road. The conditions as they actually are, not as you assumed or hoped. Every dial is set to the terrain you're really on.
Find where you're forcing. Most forcing is invisible because it looks like diligence. You'll locate exactly where the effort is going and what it's trying to make happen.
Hear what friction is reporting. Ease and stress are information about fit, not verdicts on your worth. The question stops being why is this so hard and becomes what is the hardness pointing to.
Know what gear you're in. Exploring, building, scaling, renewing. Most stalls are one gear's energy applied to another gear's moment. When force isn't converting, you change gears instead of pushing harder. That includes who you're being as you engage, since capacity has to upshift with the situation.
Make the calibrated move. Not another list of tasks. One precise correction to level, force, grip, direction or timing. You feel the texture of the work change.
Read the curve. Stored potential is real, and so is depletion. Flat and building looks like flat and reversing until you know what to look for. This is what keeps you from quitting one step before release, and from grinding away at something genuinely finished.
You'll work the whole course on one real situation where your effort isn't converting.
